About
My relationship with design started with LEGO. As a child I spent hours building, rebuilding and acquiring a large collection of LEGO pieces. This interest in how things were made took me through to an A-level in Design & Technology, where I enjoyed designing and building furniture.
It wasn't until halfway through my BTEC in Art & Design that I realised that it was the drawing and designing that I loved, and less so the actual realisation. So I concentrated more on the 'graphic' side of design, completing an HND and a degree in Graphic Design.
I have now been designing commercially for 6 years (as of 2010) and have gained a lot more skills in doing so. Understanding, preparing and sending off documents to be printed. The assorted hoops to jump through in order to manage a national advertising campaign. Also, as the demand arose, learning the intricacies of website design and optimisation.
